Clark is a former third-round pick and was selected back in 2016. Since then, the 6’5, 311 lbs, offensive lineman has played in at least 14% of offensive snaps each season, serving in a swing role. He played in 32% of snaps back in 2018, but didn’t play at all in 2019 due to the sustainability of the starting five.

He played in 12 games during the 2020 season including 3 starts at left tackle. However, he tore his Achilles at the end of the year and was allowed to test free agency waters.

brings to the table, which can only mean good things. He will join an offensive line room that possesses an interesting depth chart. Behind Jordan Mailata and Lane Johnson is currently the combination of former first-round pick Andre Dillard and fellow draftee Jack Driscoll. The team did make a signing yesterday in the way of Casey Tucker and also have Brett Toth as an option to watch over the Summer.

At guard, we know Brandon Brooks is coming off of another Achilles injury and Isaac Seumalo is the current starting LG. Landon Dickerson is versatile but nursing a recovery of his own Behind Nate Herbig currently sits Matt Pryor and Sua Opeta. There is plenty of opportunity for Clark to carve open a spot on the roster, especially given the fact that he has previously started at right guard for the Colts and proved to be serviceable.

It will be interesting to see how he progresses over the Summer, but the 28-year-old may well prove to be more than just a camp body.
