Just hours before the Phillies win in Atlanta, former right-handed pitcher Brett Myers, who is now 40 and pitched admirably in the 2008 World Series, responded that he is “too old” and “definitely” cannot reach 84 miles per hour on the radar gun as did his son.

Myers suggested that given the Phillies bullpen seems to need some help, perhaps the organization should give his son, Kolt Myers, a call.
