Eagles Week 5, 2018 vs. Vikings

Week 5 of the Eagles 2018 regular season is now in the books. The Birds lost a tough game to the Minnesota Vikings at The Linc by a 23-21 score. The team is now 2-3 on the season, and will play their first division opponent of the season this week in just a few days on Thursday Night Football.
We are witnessing the very definition of a Super Bowl hangover. Undisciplined football, bad play calling, bad tackling, unacceptable penalties are all contributing to the up and down play of this team on both offense and defense. Again, the Eagles offensive line appeared to be a liability while the run game wasn’t providing much of a burst. The Eagles defense and secondary gave up some big plays and key 3rd downs in this game that helped propel a very beatable Vikings team to victory. The Eagles seem to get their sense of urgency later in games, and that’s not going to cut it a NFC full of great teams who want to take down the Super Bowl champions.
As always, we gave our breakdown, analysis and takeaways from the game. Plus we also got into the team stats, box score and graded the positions and coaches.
