The Philadelphia Eagles week 16 game of the 2017 NFL season is now in the books as the Birds beat the Oakland Raiders in The Linc by a score of 19-10 – and there is explicit content in this show. This week, we saw another ugly win by Doug Pederson’s team. Last week, the Eagles defense was asleep. This week, it was the offense. However, the Eagles still pulled out a win and now have home field advantage throughout the playoffs as their record is now 13-2 on the season. For three quarters, the offense struggled and only converted one third-down on 14 attempts. Backup quarterback Nick Foles played horribly and the offense essentially came to a halt after the first-quarter. The defense kept this Eagles team in the game and inevitably won it for them and us fans. Even as we shake our heads, this team still is finding ways to win football games. Next week is the final game of the regular season against the Dallas Cowboys, and it’ll be interesting to see who starts and sits as the Eagles look to the playoffs. As always, we gave our analysis and takeaways from the game. We also got into the team stats, box score and graded the positions and coaches.
