The Philadelphia Eagles week 15 game of the 2017 NFL season is now in the books as the Birds beat the New York Giants on in East Rutherford by a score of 34-29. They say a win is a win, but this was certainly an ugly win, and not one the defense will excited to look at this coming week in the film room. It was probably one of the sloppiest games this Eagles defense, and especially the secondary, played this entire season. We did, however, witness Carson Wentz’s replacement, Nick Foles, putting up 237 yards and 4 touchdown passes on the day. Foles certainly proved this week he was a competent backup quarterback for this Eagles offense. Overall, it was a hard fought division game, but the Eagles still own the Giants. In their last 20 games, the Eagles have won 16 of them. The playoffs are just a few weeks away, and the future is still even more uncertain as this defense floundered today. As always, we gave our analysis and takeaways from the game. We also got into the team stats, box score and graded the positions and coaches.
