The Eagles are one step closer to getting tight end Zach Ertz back on the field.

They activated the 21-day practice window for the three-time Pro Bowler who suffered an ankle injury on October 18 against Baltimore.

Despite missing the last three games, Ertz is still third on the team with 24 receptions on the year to go along with 178 yards and a touchdown.

Richard Rodgers stepped up in Ertz’s absence with 10 catches for 145 yards in the two games against the Giants. Dallas Goedert, who was also on Injured Reserve this season, had four catches on six targets for 33 yards on Sunday.
